Feel free to bring your own warm beverage – water will be available.

FUMC DOWNTOWN GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE Join us at the DOWNTOWN Campus of First United Methodist Church, (420 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs CO 80903) for Good Friday Service in the sanctuary (April 18 at 6:30 pm). The Passion of Christ will come to life through scripture, music, and the spoken word. This Tenebrae service (a service of darkness) will be anchored by readings and the chancel choir as we remember Jesus' final hours.

HELP US MAKE A RESURRECTION CROSS ON EASTER! Bring some flowers and place them on our “resurrection” cross before  worship on Easter!  Christ’s resurrection brings new life to the whole world. Even the terrible cross can become an emblem of new life when we cover it with flowers on Easter. Help us create this beautiful symbol; transforming our cross covered in chicken wire to a beautiful flowering cross. Simply bring flowers—as many as you like—to place on the cross before worship begins. We’ll also have some flowers available for those of us who forget.

LENT 2025 - COMING BACK TO LIFE

JOIN US SUNDAYS AT 10 A.M.

Join us this Lent as we celebrate “Coming Back to Life.” See you Sundays at 10 a.m.

Welcome to First United Methodist Church, Prairie Campus! An inclusive, open-minded, Christ centered community.

Through God's love, we are each created in God’s image. No matter whom we love, no matter how we look, no matter where we are on our journey, God’s imprint is in every person of every race/ethnicity, every gender, and every sexual orientation. We believe that Love put on flesh—brown, poor, Jewish baby flesh—and came to live among us. We believe God lives among us still; we are the living body of Christ. We are the hands, feet, and heartbeat of God. We believe the Spirit of God calls us to freedom, and we are not free until all of us are free.
